Halal options at Winter Wonderland

November 27, 2017Halal Gems Team

Updated for 2017
The Halal Gems team took a trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park once again this year to find out what halal options they had on offer. The park can be quite daunting with a lot to see and do but with our handy tips below and our guide on what to eat, we hope to make your experience just that little bit better! There are a few halal food stalls available on site however be prepared to pay a little more than usual for average quality food!
Opening Times: 10am to 10pm every day from 18th November to 1st January 2018 (closed on Christmas Day). Entry is free.
Nearest stations: Bond Street, Green Park, Knightsbridge, Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner, Paddington and Victoria. Green Park station is the best for step-free access.

Below is a map of the park so you can plan your visit. It’s also available here.

Our top tips for Winter Wonderland:
1. Most stalls only accept cash. ATM’s are available at the venue however they charge per transaction.
2. Tokens for rides and attractions can be bought on the day at the token booths dotted around Winter Wonderland. These cannot be purchased in advance.
3. Winter Wonderland is free to enter but you will need a ticket for the Ice Rink, The Magical Ice Kingdom, Cinderella on Ice, Zippos Christmas Circus, Cirque Berserk, The Sooty Christmas Show, Giant Wheel and Bar Ice. Buy these in advance to avoid queues / disappointment.
4. Avoid weekends and evenings as these are the busiest times. We went on a Monday in the early afternoon and it was fairly quiet. We expect this to change once the school holidays kick in.
5. Wrap up! (check out the Fire Pit at F16 to warm up)
Watch our vlog from our visit and keep reading to find out about the halal options available at Winter Wonderland 2018.
