A Michelin starred restaurant: I had high expectations! I always go for the chef's tasting menu to make sure the chef can give me a nice tour. It also means fewer decisions! Things that stood out: Shakartand Chaat, Grilled Peppers (teeny and cute!), Spinach & Fig Tikki, pomegranate & rose raita from the biryani. The food was presented well and tasted good. I think you can get similar quality at other restaurants for a better price. Overall happy I went but only for special occasions!

Came here for my birthday and loved it from the moment i walked in. Breathtaking decor and slight wooden sleek finish everywhere with open kitchen i knew ill be enjoying the setting and ambience of the floor that afternoon.
The menu was something i was eager to see as it can not be found online and i was blown away with all the descriptive and mouthwatering dishes they had to offer.
Was seated and with a great window table and was approached by the maitre d who was ever so welcoming and helpful with helping pick out dishes and drinks (they have a great collection of non alcoholic drinks, we'd ordered the Lychee sherbet, fresh melon and virgin passion mojito all which were to so tasty and refreshing!)
Our drinks arrived shortly after ordering
i was spoilt for choice as to what to pick and whether to go for the 'small plate' or regular.
i went for the small plates (as advised too) considering i was going to order the Biriyani (wild garlic leaf chicken ) with naan and there gorgeous rose and pomegranate raita.
Starters arrived at a perfect pace and order. The moist and perfectly seasoned black peppered chicken with lovely thick sauce of the side, along with the smoked chilli lamb chops; they were both presented beautifully, nice and simple. the sauce (for chicken dish) encased in a banana leaf and the lamb rested on banana leaf with pomegranate om the side which added a nice colour contrast. Both were at right temp to just start eating and none of that 'gotta wait for it to cool or ill burn my tongue off'. The lamb was very tender and so tasty and the chicken was so moist it just melted in my mouth and just fell apart!
After that followed the crab dish which was presented in such a colourful and artistic manner. the Blue swimmer Crab Kebab melted like butter and was sitting on a thick sauce ( which from what i remember was peppery).
After that a little break with drinks and chit chat followed the BIRIYANI, soon as they open the lid of the iron dish (i think) the steam and scents just poured out and it was just lush, you can smell the caramelised onions which garnished the rice and the rice and garlic leaves had given off such a wonderful fragrance and aroma and was just eager to dig in.With it i had the naan which were cute little pocket sizes and the raita which i was curious about and they all just complemented one another somehow; the coolness of the yogurt and zing from the pomegranate just evened out the spices of the biriyani. I will recommend that the biriyani is a lot to have on your own; its best shared i'd say with one other person.
Some will say it is rather pricey, but considering it is a Michelin starred, using fine ingredients and in a prime location i would day it is worth it.
Will i go again? yes in a heart beat!!

Lovely restaurant, great service, chicken cooked to perfection, wasn't too keen on the masala/rub on the chops it didn't taste like the spices were cooked through but the meat was!
