Describe your relationship with food in three words.
Indulgent, cultural & passionate.
If you weren’t a street food trader what would you be doing? Tell us about your journey.

I’ve worked in fashion for the last five years and still do now but food is my ultimate passion. After years of dreaming of having a food business, I decided to take the leap and just start. Having grown up with an Indian mother and an English father I was exposed to some amazing food growing up. My Mixed Cultures is where the inspiration for Indian fish and chips came from. After hours in the kitchen with my mother, balancing my dad’s favorite meal (fish and chips)  with my mum’s  fish masala recipe, I finally had my street food dish.
What would be your last supper or your last meal on earth be if you could choose?
Steak and truffle chips with peppercorn sauce.
Who would you love to cook for (past or present)?
Ina Garten (The Barefoot Contessa) I love her!
What is your foodie guilty pleasure?
The Cacio Peppe at Padella followed by the pistachio ice cream from Gelupo
What’s been the hardest thing so far?
Balancing my job in fashion with starting a food business and still trying to have a life.
What’s been the highlight so far?
Having people tell me how much they enjoy my food – makes it all worth it.
What advice would you give to people who are thinking of starting their own street food business?
Choose something you love to cook because you are going to be cooking a lot if it. Everything can’t be perfect when you first start. Focus on the food and just start trading wherever you can, all the other stuff will fall into place.
