All You Can Eat Crawfish Boil at Boondocks London

August 23, 2016Halal Gems Team

This August Bank Holiday Weekend, Chef Bea Vo is bringing back the Crawfish Boil to her new restaurant, Boondocks London . Held at 7pm each night from Friday 26th August to Monday 29th August and priced at £40 per person, this epic Southern style feast is one not to be missed!
“In the spirit of all things Americana, Boondocks, will be bringing back the much loved Louisiana-style Crawfish Boil! Mountains of Spiced Crawfish, Potatoes, Sweetcorn, Polish Style Beef Sausage, and Garlic Bread along with cocktail sauce, comeback sauce and our special cajun butter sauce for dipping, this is a not a feast for the faint-hearted. This is a crawfish boil the way my family has it back in the states.
There will be no plates, no cutlery. Just lots of newspaper, wedges of lemon, and learn the ‘rustic’ way of enjoying these critters, which would not be out of place in any horror B-movie. Don’t come dressed fancy! Come in clothes that you may need to burn in shame afterwards.
Tickets are £40 per person for all you can eat Crawfish, sauces, butters, sides and dessert. Drinks are not included. For dessert we’ll be passing out our ice lollies of different flavours or brownies, enjoy as many as you can consume! One seating only, so there’s no rush–this will be a proper Southern party–no rush, a chance to enjoy the nice weather, and great company. Better yet, the crawfish comes right here in the UK rivers, and by eating them, we’re helping the UK white-clawed crayfish population by eating the American Crayfish invaders. Our crawfish come courtesy of Crayfish Bob.
The Crawfish Boil is one sitting only- this is where you get to linger, no one is rushing you out, and All-You-Can-Eat means what you means. If you have any song requests–send it along to us and we’ll add it to the playlist!”

Boondocks opens later this month. Soft launch is 26th – 27th August with 50% off the food bill. For more information check Boondocks’ Twitter , Facebook or Instagram .
