20 Medjool dates, chopped
50g water
50g sugar
Sugar syrup for coating
Samosa sheets
Spring roll pastry
Sunflower oil, for deep frying
For the frangipane filling:
1 tbsp rosewater
40g caster sugar
6 tbsp water
70g ground almonds
30g fresh pomegranate seeds
For the garnish:
50g shelled pistachios, chopped
50g fresh pomegranate seeds
Chocolate sauce
